Jonathan Edwards – Dream Song

Nineteen seventy-two started on a Saturday. It was the longest year ever. Some gloomy world events. I was minus eight years old. Unbeknown to one another, my parents were continents apart. My father hadn’t made a life changing decision yet. To pluck himself out of the Canadian frost and relocate to the searing Middle east. My mother was living the single, free-spirited carefree life in Tel-Aviv. Working as a secretary in a cubicle. Back in the days when smoking was permitted indoors. How I miss those days.
A family was yet to be formed. There were dreams to be had. And possibilities.
Nineteen seventy-two also saw the release of this gem.  And thirty-eight years later I listen to it and melt a little.
