Stars • Your Ex-Lover Is Dead (Final Fantasy Remix)
When there’s nothing left to burn you have to set yourself on fire.
Sebastian in bed. Staring at the ceiling. The Road by Cormac McCarthy by his side. Pondering over post-apocalyptic times. In his wondrous black and white mirage, he doesn’t have a son to share a bright red can of cola with. He walks on and on, and these are his thoughts. Sebastian is a great name, he thinks. Sweden would be a great country to visit, he thinks. Poetry should have been his calling, he thinks. If only it wasn’t the end of time. If only ash didn’t cover the horizon.
Sebastian broke something that was broken. But if he lives through this, he won’t look back.
So he jolts up from bed. Jots in his journal. Signs his name. And books a flight to Stockholm.
